Joe Randolph in his Remodeled Bath

Joe’s Story
For 10 years Joe Randolph from Paragould, Arkansas work for Baldwin Specialties, a firm which specializes in custom showers, interior and exterior remodeling and more. Little did he know that one day he would need a custom shower for himself.
In 2021, he was diagnosed with a spinal abscess. Following surgery he developed an infection which left him paralyzed at T4!
His home had one bathroom which only had a large tub. When he was a client of the Arkansas spinal cord commission, his case manager recommended he contact our foundation for assistance. His disability no longer allowed him to work in the trade he had enjoyed. The reduction in income was sudden and severe, causing basic medical supplies and household items to be prioritized. He worked with the Greene County Baptist Association which helped him with food, clothing and supplies. Thanks to our many devoted sponsors, we were able to help Joe obtain a bath remodel for the shower.
“Now I will be able to bathe myself independently, which by itself will improve my mental health and overall quality of life,” ” Joe said. “This accessible bathroom is a big part of me becoming as independent as possible.”
Thanks to our terrific supporters we were able to meet his needs!
