Trevan’s Story

After graduating from Welder school, Trevan went to work for MBI Pipeline & Construction Services in McPherson, Kansas. MBI provides pipeline maintenance and construction, primarily at gas plants. They also provide Line locating services and erosion control.

On December 10, 2023 Trevan was involved in an MVA and he lost his leg!

Trevan describes himself as an independent person who has always enjoyed athletics. This devastating car accident however taught him however a new level of interdependence on his family, friends and healthcare workers. “During the recovery process I have become very vulnerable and conscientious of being dependent upon others,” Trevan said. “This grant will allow me to become more self-sufficient, benefiting both my family and myself.” Trevan’s mom Christy said, “The walk-in shower is going to be a huge blessing. Thank you so much for helping us with this as we navigate our way through this new adventure with our son. And by the way, no more infection – yea!”
